Welcome to Newbald Primary School’s website. I hope that browsing through the website will give you a ‘snapshot’ of our school and an insight into the many activities that take place here – there’s always something exciting and interesting going on!

Newbald Primary is a happy and friendly school where the whole community prides itself on the fact that all children, including those with special needs and special talents, develop, learn and grow. The school team aim to provide an exciting and inspiring curriculum that develops children’s curiosity and love of learning.

Newbald Primary School

We are a smaller than average primary school aproximately 4 miles south of Market Weighton and 8 miles west of the market town of Beverley. We put our children at the heart of everything we do. Our school consistst of 4 classes and less than 100 pupils. School begins at our nursery and children can begin their learning journey with us from the term after their 3rd birthday.

Our school building, in North Newbald, dates back to 1914. Although it has some great history, it has recently seen some more modern improvements and refurbishments.

Our school is aproximately 4 miles from North & South Cave, 6 miles from Bishop Burton & Walkington and 4.5 miles from Market Weighton. The school is surrounded by beautiful East Riding countryside. Please click on the map to enlarge.
